It was the night before Christmas, there wasn’t a sound
Well except of course that is for the diabetes alarm, that was very loud!
Quietly creep into their room, making sure the fast-acting glucose goes down
Relax, breathe, they’ll be ok now
Santa: “What you doing awake?”
Mum/Dad: “ It’s Type 1 Diabetes, it never gives you a break
Not even on Christmas Eve, but don’t worry we still believe…

Back to bed now to make it another wonderful year
