Bright, playful overlay patches designed for children who wear an Omnipod insulin pump. Every patch in this collection is compatible with Omnipod and Omnipod DASH pods, in designs kids actually want to wear — from sharks and dinosaurs to donuts, unicorns and video game pixels.

The Pod is a small thing that lives on your child's body for three days at a time. A patch on top of it makes it feel less like medical kit and more like something they own. It also gives a bit of extra help keeping the Pod in place through school, PE, splashing about and everything in between.

Frequently asked questions

Do these fit the Omnipod and Omnipod DASH?
Yes. Both Pods share the same shape and size, and our patches fit both. On each product page you can also pick horizontal or vertical orientation depending on how your child wears the Pod.

How long does one Omnipod patch last?
Most families get the full 3-day Pod wear out of one patch. Because the Pod itself is only worn for three days, you don't need the extra-long adhesive that a 10 or 14-day sensor patch would need.

Can my child shower and swim with the patch on?
The patches are designed to stay put through everyday water exposure — baths, showers, swimming lessons and splashing at the beach — without needing to be reapplied. Pat dry gently rather than rubbing.

How do I apply an Omnipod patch on a child?
Make sure the Pod and skin around it are clean and dry. Peel the backing, position the patch so the cut-out lines up with the Pod, and press firmly around the edges for 20–30 seconds. Full step-by-step is on our Patch Care page.

Are SmileSensors patches medical devices?
No. Our patches are decorative accessories designed to sit around the Omnipod housing. They do not replace, cover the cannula or interfere with the Pod's function. Always follow Insulet's instructions for the Pod itself.
