Overlay patches with sea, beach and summer designs, made to sit on your Omnipod or Omnipod DASH Pod through the bits of life where water shows up — showers, swimming lessons, baths, holidays on the coast. Every patch is cut to fit the Pod shape and orientation you wear.

The Pod is already water-resistant to Insulet's own rating — our patches don't change that. What our overlays add is a soft, decorated edge that helps keep the Pod anchored to your skin when you're moving, wet and drying off. Applied properly to clean skin, one patch typically lasts the full 3-day Pod session.

Frequently asked questions

Are these patches waterproof for the Omnipod?
Our patches are designed to stay put through everyday water exposure — showers, swimming lessons, beach days — without needing to be reapplied. They are not IPX-rated. The Omnipod itself is IP28-rated by Insulet — the patch adds a decorative edge, it doesn't change that rating.

How long does an Omnipod patch last with regular swimming?
Applied to clean, dry skin and pressed for 20–30 seconds, most patches last the full 3-day Pod session even with regular showering and swimming. Because the Pod itself is only worn for three days, you don't need extra-long adhesive.

Can I go in the sea with an Omnipod patch on?
Yes. Rinse with fresh water after and pat dry gently rather than rubbing. Salt and sand lift the edges more than the water itself.

Does the patch stop the Pod delivering insulin?
No. Our patches are cut to sit around the Pod housing without covering the cannula area, so insulin delivery works as normal.

Are SmileSensors patches medical devices?
No. Our patches are decorative accessories designed to sit around the Omnipod housing. They do not replace or interfere with the Pod's function. Always follow Insulet's instructions for the Pod itself.
