A diaversary is the anniversary of the day you (or someone you love) was diagnosed with diabetes. It's an odd date to mark — not exactly a celebration, not exactly a loss either. For a lot of people it's a quiet acknowledgment of another year of figures, finger pricks, sensor changes and getting on with life anyway.

Our Happy Diaversary patches are small enough to wear on the day, low-key enough not to demand a conversation, and clear enough to mean something to anyone in the community who recognises the term.

Compatible with

Designs are available for Freestyle Libre 2 and 3, Dexcom G6 and G7, Omnipod and Medtronic Guardian. Choose your device on the product page.

Frequently asked questions

What is a diaversary?

It's the anniversary of a diabetes diagnosis — short for "diabetes anniversary". Some people count from the date of diagnosis, others from the date insulin treatment started. It's personal.

Can I give one as a gift to someone hitting a milestone year?

Yes. A diaversary patch makes a quiet, thoughtful gift for someone reaching 1, 5, 10 or more years since diagnosis.

Do you have patches for first diaversary specifically?

The designs in this collection work for any year. If you're looking for a specific milestone (10 years, 25 years), get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible.

Is it appropriate to celebrate a diaversary?

That's entirely personal. Some people mark it with relief and a small present to themselves. Others let it pass without comment. There's no right answer.
